ABOUT ME

3rd Grade

Please allow me to introduce myself and tell you how very excited I am to have your child in my class. My name is Julie Kerber. I was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. I moved to Bradenton, Florida the summer before fifth grade. I attended Moody Elementary, Sugg Middle, and graduated from Manatee High School. I went to University of South Florida with a degree in psychology. I returned to USF later to become a teacher in 2004. I have taught kindergarten through sixth grade with most my time in kindergarten and third grade. Before joining the Harvey family, I taught kindergarten and third grade at Ballard Elementary School.

I married my high school sweetheart in 2001. We have two boys Caden age 17 and Drake age 20. We also have a fur baby named Toby. I enjoy singing on praise team at our church, taking Toby for walks, crafting, and spending time with my family.

Our classroom will be an environment which all students feel comfortable and safe. I am a very positive individual and will hope to instill this same positive attitude with your child as well as other important traits such as; responsibility, respect, choices, and consequences.

All students will be expected to work hard and make good choices towards their behavior.

We can learn a whole lot if all students maintain positive attitudes and respect one another.
